Meghhan Maupin is the VP of Consumer Insights at Function of Beauty. She was the CEO and Co-Founder of Atolla, which was acquired by Function in August 2021. Atolla is a data-based skincare system that does the heavy lifting of picking out your ideal ingredients and routine, so you don’t have to.
In this episode, we chat all things skincare - from acne and Accutane to SPF and outdoor sports. Meg takes us behind the scenes of building Atolla with multiple co-founders before ultimately going through with the acquisition solo. Her mental health routine involves rock climbing and feeding baby cows - as she now lives on a farm in the Adirondacks!
